Mandatory Immigration DNA Testing: Is It Necessary?

Many families who are going through the immigration DNA Testing process often ask the question. Is Immigration DNA Testing necessary?

The answer to this question is “NO”. Currently, Immigration gives the option to perform DNA Testing but, we believe DNA Testing will become a mandatory option in the near future.

IDTO recommends any family who has been given the option to perform DNA Testing should seriously perform this option. The reason being is, performing a DNA test will provide the strongest proof of evidence that will help determine a relationship between family members.

Why does immigration request DNA Tests?

Over the years, there has been an increase of immigrants migrating to the United States. With the increase, comes more potential opportunity for fraudulent practices to take place. USCIS and Embassies have become more vigilant on decreasing the opportunity for fraud. This is why DNA Testing has become an important part of the process. When families do not provide enough evidence which in turn may raise suspicion with your assigned immigration officer they can rest assure there is 99% chance they will perform a DNA Relationship Test.
